Property Description

The Argus Retirement No. 1 Fund was established to provide Investors with the opportunity to participate in a $4.55m first mortgage loan (Loan) to Kado, in support of the acquisition of a 1,827sqm development site located at 16 Prince Street, Coffs Harbour NSW, 2450.

 

Investment Rationale

The Fund provided Investors with an opportunity to provide capital to KADO, a new retirement living developer backed by the team behind Oak Tree Retirement Villages.  Kado acquired the Property with a plan to develop 25 luxury retirement residences.  The Property is located in close proximity to key lifestyle features such as beaches, nature reserves, shopping, restaurants and medical services.  The Project will feature high-end finishes and ocean views and provide buyers with access to community and lifestyle benefits akin to a sophisticated club.

The Project has received development approval with construction works expected to commence in late 2025.
